Leaving

Leavingís always brought my senses to remorse

But I donít think I feel it this time

Out on the interstate, just turned fifteen

With my brother, my leader, by my side

Itís a fortunate feeling: the whole of the south

of The United States passing you by

You canít help but beaming and joking and screaming

Tear out another page on my life

I know a change will come

What in life wonít be undone

I know a change is gonna come this time

Leavingís not going or staying

Itís just knowing what youíre leaving behind

Those yesterdays are haunting, you donít know what youíre wanting

Who knows what youíre gonna find

So Iím looking for the morning tonight with the warning

The light will burn up my eyes

And tear out the rest of my pages. Iím leaving

Iím going, no time for goodbyes

I know a change will come

What in life wonít be undone

I know a change is gonna come this time
